Description
The Contract consists of the provision of railway safety trained staff to undertake lineside vegetation clearance and tree management.
Generally the work consists of:
- Brickwork repairs to wing walls, abutments and arches
- Culvert construction, cleaning and repairs
- Embankment stabilisation
- Structural steelwork
- Shot blasting, painting, cleaning and bridge repairs
- Installation of wheel timbers and other minor structural modification
- The removal of vegetation from structures
- Pest control measures at stations and bridges
