Hard Facilities Manager Required

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Hard Facilities Manager to lead our dedicated Planned Preventative Maintenance team on our contract for London Borough of Bexley.

The role will have the responsibility for managing planned and reactive maintenance across the Borough of Bexley ensuring that health and safety compliance is maintained at all times on sites and work locations. Your role will be to make sure the assets are maintained to a high standard and the team will have the ability to respond to reactive repairs and carry out routine repairs.

Ensuring KPI's are met & jobs are completed within priority and on budget and managing quality control of engineers and sub-contractors.



Requirements

  • Technical background with formal qualification
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Good communication skills – oral and written
  • Client facing and Presentable
  • Understanding of SFG20
  • Previous knowledge of web-based Asset Management Systems
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills



Highly desirable

  • Experience working on London Borough Asset Management Contracts
  • Knowledge of the maintenance of the following:
  • Water treatment (L8)
  • AC/HVAC
  • Water Treatment (Temperature check )
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
  • General building fabric
  • Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
  • Emergency lighting



Major Tasks Undertaken on the Contract

Perform planned preventative maintenance, statutory compliance tasks and reactive works.

To undertake the routine PPM tasks in accordance with the SFG20 framework.

Ensure the scoping of remedial work jobs confirming labour, materials, and operational information and quote to client.

Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems where applicable.

Ensure that routine planned, and preventative maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements according to contract scope.
