Helpdesk/ Project Co-ordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Helpdesk/Project Co-ordinator to join our team working on various contracts throughout Kent and Sussex based in our Sussex office in Copthorne near Gatwick.

You will be providing first line support to a number of our clients including Network Rail, while coordinating and ensuring maintenance (planned and reactive) is managed along with day-to-day operational support via telephone and email.

The role:

  • Management of the helpdesk email inbox and telephone, along with administrative duties for live contracts.
  • Supporting the coordination of both planned and reactive maintenance for all contracts
  • Liaising with sub-contractors & suppliers and issuing Purchase Orders to both, whilst collating job information to be issued and received.
  • Support the manager with scheduling reactive and preventative maintenance contracts;
  • Allocate tasks to directly employed engineers or sub-contractors in a supporting capacity to the delivery and commercial team

What we are looking for:

A team player with the following attributes:

Essential

  • Previous Administration experience
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within a helpdesk function.
  • Good working knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
  • Self-motivated and able to act on own initiative, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent I.T skills – MS Office inc. word, outlook, excel & MS Teams.
  • Good communication skills including spoken and written English.
  • Strong organisation skills are essential

Desirable

  • Previous Facilities Management experience
  • Good working knowledge of maintenance processes and procedures or experience within a helpdesk function.

Salary:

£9.50-£11.00 per hour
