PTS Civils/Groundworks Gang
B & M McHugh are currently recruiting a 4-person civils gang to include 1x COSS/Team Leader & 3 Semi skilled Operatives/Labourer for ongoing midweek and weekend work in the Kent and Sussex areas.
We are currently looking for a self-sufficient gang to undertake duct route installation & lighting column bases due to securing a new contract to replace platform lighting on stations across the South East Network. The ability to work on Highway projects would also be of interest to fulfil other projects we are currently looking to deliver.
Please only apply if you live in Sussex, Kent or the surrounding areas and have a good grasp of the English language, are able to hold safety critical conversations and understand railway terminology. You must be willing to work shifts, including days, nights and weekends. Local candidates are only being considered, as we need to have confidence that staff are familiar with the areas we are working in. Immediate starts available with full-time, ongoing work.
If successful, you will be joining an established team we have in the area, and will be looking at 5/6 days a week with a guaranteed minimum of a 40-hour week. This is a hands-on, safety-critical role where you will be part of a team.
Successful candidates will ideally hold the following competencies:
- PTS - All
- COSS – At least one
- Driving Licenses
