B&M McHugh team face the ultimate challenge, the time has come!
Ian Onions, Richard Sharp, Adam Burkett and Eva Hayward will be undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge tomorrow!
We’ve been training hard (some of us more than others…) and we finally get to put the training into action as we head off tomorrow, and start at Snowdon which we will be climbing tomorrow night! We then climb Scafell Pike, then Ben Nevis, before we make our way back home on Saturday.
All of this is in aid of an incredible charity, Railway Children. Railway Children has been fighting for children alone and at risk on the streets for over 22 years. During that time, they’ve reached more than 275,000 children in India, the UK and East Africa. Millions of children still live alone on the streets where they suffer abuse and exploitation. In the UK, society often denies their existence, and in other countries the problem is so prevalent that it has become ‘normal’. They run away or are forced to leave home, where they suffer poverty, violence, abuse and neglect. The problems they face on the streets are often even worse than those they endured at home.
